Love this place!

Lovely atmosphere. Seems to be a popular local restaurant and is rarely not busy. The food is great and they don't charge corkage which is amazing!

Love the seafood crepe entree and the pizzas - particularly the salmon are great (and only around $20 which is a bargain!). All the food here is good though.

With the staff - they are gorgeous! Love the waitresses - all of them. One looks so much like Jennifer Annison from 'Friends' and even has the same mannerisms which was amazing!

Mario is great too. Thank you guys/girls - we will miss you now that we have moved to Frankston :(

This place has great coffee. Absolutely adore the coffee and the friendly faces. The wedges are great, and can take away or dine in. Food is fantastic with a great variety. The cakes are great too. Overall a fantastic cafe hidden away but close to businesses so very handy location.

I went here in the morning and had coffee. The place was very busy with people who work in the area calling in for their takeaway coffees and there were a few dining in for breakfast.

There was a wait to be served but that was just because of the volume of people coming thru. The barrista was taking orders while he was making coffee while another was taking eftpos transactions and delivering food and coffees. Another staff member was getting food orders.

The coffee was great and I also got a slice to take away for later. I have not had any experience with lunch or dinner so unable to comment on that but there was a reasonably priced menu and pizza range.

Had some friends down from Interstate and thought we'd try Cafe Oggi for Brunch as I had been there a few years before and had a good experience. The several staff we saw upon walking in ignored us when we arrived - no eye contact, no greeting. The man operating the barrista didn't even look up. Despite the place being practically empty had to wait ages for a staff member to deign to notice us. Upon asking for a table, the waiter walked us into the back seating area, pushed 2 tables together and walked off without a word, leaving us with no menus or anything! After waiting for the staff member to return decided that we would rather go somewhere that wanted our custom and went to AirStream at the Glen instead. Very disappointed. All it would have taken to make us interested in staying was a word of acknowledgement and smile in greeting rather than being ignored and left wondering if we would ever be served.

Oggi's combines quick Italian fare, with classy service in a nicely built restaurant atmosphere. The food is varied - from your traditional pastas and pizzas, to your more adventurous entries, such as the Roast Vegetable and Ricotta stack.

The staff are always pleasant, and it's a nice change to see mature adult waiters, rather than snotty teenagers. The dining room is massive, but it's spaced out nicely, so you don't feel as though you're packed in. It's definitely somewhere between cheap & easy, and high-class = combines the best of both worlds!

Overall this restaurant was ok. The ingredients were good quality and they did not skimp even on the more expensive items. The food was basic italian, well prepared, however it was nothing special given the prices being paid.

It was quite busy on the night which may contribute to some of the following observations. The service was sparse and bland however it was polite.
It was very very noisy - it was difficult hearing what the person next to me was saying let alone the one opposite. This improved later in the night when it was only half as full. The food took a long time to come out.

Approximate cost: $20-25

Excellent food and a really nice venue. Some staff are great, others come across a bit arrogant. Lots of meals to choose from on the menu. Not a whole stack of vegetarian options but it seems like the kind of place that would adapt a dish to suit (though I tend to just order the same thing). Those I have dined with swear the spaghetti marinara is the best ever.

Approximate cost: $20 - $28

I have always enjoyed dining at Cafe Oggi. I used to be a regular in the restaurant and now use the take-away service more. The restaurant staff are always friendly and very helpful and the quality of food is always fantastic. The take-away pizzas are these best in the area and regardless of when we call they are always ready in 10 mins.

Approximate cost: $15

The friendly service with the food is great. Always greeted with a big hello, its a good way to start dinner. The aperitifs are not always at the start, which is good.

Have always enjoyed my experience at Cafe Oggi's, an unassuming restaurant tucked behind Burwood Hwy, in East Burwood. It is an inviting atmosphere, both for dinner and lunch, and the service makes you feel comfortable to be there. For lunch, I have never had to book, which is always handy! The food is your basic Italian, and I have never been disapointed. Great place for family and friends.

Approximate cost: $20-25
