This is a lovely cafe with a decent amount of seating and great atmosphere. The service staff were very nice and efficient and assisted me with any questions I had about the menu. My meal came out quickly and tasted delicious. You get an ample amount of food, but the prices were too expensive in my opinion.

Café Segovia looks really promising with a beautiful European inspired menu and restaurant. My family and I came here for breakfast on the weekend. The customer service was friendly and efficient. In terms of our meals, some of us had a nice breakfast, however my breakfast was really bad. The eggs were massively over-cooked and the sourdough was burnt, I could barely eat any of it because it was so terrible. I was disappointed and I will not be eating here again.

We ate breakfast here on the weekend, and it was fantastic. Thankfully we ordered one of the larger cooked breakies between the two of us, as there was no way I could have finished it myself. The OJ was the most pulpy OJ I've ever "drank" too, I had to chew some of it! (That's not a complaint!).

We ate outside under the heaters, and the waiters were quick and efficient. The only downside was it was quite difficult to get inside to pay - I felt like I was in the way as the register was right next to the kitchen door.

OMG! this place is amazing, i wen there with a group of friends and they were so inviting. they serve everyone and are very friendly. Food may take longer than it should although the food is really nice. The coffee's there are really good. Caramel Latte's are one of the BEST i have ever tried. I will definitely be going there a lot more.

This place used to be one of my favourites but it's slowly gone downhill. The quality of the ingredients has really taken a hit with wilted old rocket being served on plates and terrible coffee being charged way too much. They used to have some of the best mussels in town but now I'm not so sure.

I love this nice little cafe that is nested in the block place. I go for breakfast there. Eggs florentine are fantastic. I love the hollandaise sauce. I ask for extra hollandaise sauce.

Its a very nice place in eat in the city. Prices are reasonable and the food is great. The music was a bit too loud but the young people seem to like that

This is a fantastic cafe nestled in the heart of Melbourne.
It has a fantastic vibe, the service is very good and the staff are all very friendly.
The food is delicious and very good value, particularly the spicy tomato soup.
They always have great music playing.
Also really good for people watching.

I visit cafe segovia for breakfast every time I am in Melbourne, the eggs benedict are to die for. I introduced my friend to segovia in april 07, had dinner for the first time there and loved it, the anitpasto platter with meatballs...YUM. Will definitely be going again in February 08.

I found this place listed on the Coeliac Society of Victoria's website and I wasn't alone, as a woman sitting next to me happened to mention as I got the waiter to list what I could eat. A varied menu, European influences rather strong, the mushroom risotto with caramelised onion was tasty, the chicken breast with bacon and avocado a little dry, the ice cream served with dessert delicious. The live music was ambient rather than intrusive and the location of the place was excellent. A trifle cramped in the laneway restaurant is my only major complaint.
