1 review about Cafe Twenty One

I will start on a positive note and say that the cafe is very well presented, displaying lots of fresh fruit for juices and pre-made lunch rolls that look very appertising. The cafe has won an "I love food award" for favourite burger but I cannot comment any further on this as I didn't eat lunch there. On a recent trip to Darwin, my partner and I thought we would give this place a go for our morning coffee. It had a regular flow of customers and claimed to roast coffee beans daily. Unfortunately our coffee experience was the WORST ever. I am not one to whinge about a coffee and am usually pretty easily pleased but the taste and standard of the coffee left much to be desired. To put things in perspective, the lady sitting next to us took one sip of her coffee and left the remainder. It seriously tasted nothing like coffee! Our only regret is that we didn't take the coffee back for a refund. My raisin toast was nothing special and looked like a piece out of a loaf of Mighty Soft. If you are in Darwin, I do not recommend this cafe for a coffee fix.

Approximate cost: $4.50
