My friend and I had a Tuesday night dinner here last week.
Wasn't overly busy, so service was fairly quick and friendly.
I had the Seafood Platter, which consisted of Garfish, S&P Calamari, Prawns in a garlic cream sauce, served with chips and salad. I don't like calamari, so they happily swapped it for extra Garfish. I thought my meal was beautiful. Piping hot, tasted fresh and a generous sized serve for $25. My friend chose the Pollo Fantasia, which was a chicken breast in a mustard cream sauce, served with chips and salad. She said it was 'alright' but not as good as the other Primo she goes to. We shared a garlic bread, which comes as a mini pizza ... and it was DIVINE! They currently have a deal going, where they give you a free pancake with maple syrup and cream, with every main meal ordered. It was very yummy, even if a "bit light" on the toppings. All in all, I was very happy with everything and will definitely be making a return visit.

Approximate cost: $25

I can honestly say Im not a big fan. I keep going back as its an easy stop with kids, but have finally realized even the kids expect quality and value. Went to a cafe for lunch 3 of us and didn't leave with much change from $100-00. One was a kids meal with a milkshake and the other a plate of pasta and milkshake and a focaccia, bottle of mineral water and a coffee- what a rip off and the food as usual is mediocre quality. Sorry wont be going back again when there are so many other cafes to try.

The food is average for the price, that are no longer cheap like Primo used to be (some mains around the $27 mark). Serving sizes aren't huge. It is not a bad place but certainly not like Primo used to be, decent food for a bargain price. The service is generally friendly.

Approximate cost: $20.00

Its a shame when franchise stores are not of the same quality or change dramatically in price and menu, I used to be a big primo lover. Helpful thanks.

Caffe primo is a great quick and easy option for dinner. Staff are always friendly although sometimes you can be waiting quite a while for your meal. Depending on when you go if you order a main meal you get a free garlic bread or pancake. Food is always acceptable not amazing.
