I've lived in cairns on and off for over 20 years, and of all the accommodation I've stayed in(and its a lot) this wasn't one of the best motels in cairns.its okay, and not terrible, but it's not the best either.rooms are standard and bit grotty,my air con dripped badly, plus tv had no cable.brekky was the best part of the stay, that was all great.

Approximate cost: $155

Stayed here on my first trip to Cairns. The rooms are quite narrow and a bit dated but they're clean and air-conditioned. The surroundings are beautiful and there's a large swimming pool, too. Buffet breakfast was lovely and fresh.

Approximate cost: $160 per night

Stayed here on the weekend for one night with my husband and toddler. We had originally booked a studio king room, but actually ended up with a 1-bedroom king room (bedroom separate from living area), complete with a small but well-stocked kitchenette! Room was modern, spacious and clean. We enjoyed the pools and spa with our little one, and dinner was quite a feast with our mains from the a-la-carte menu and also a salad/dessert bar buffet to choose from. Had a lovely girl as our waitress that night, very attentive and didn't mind the mess our toddler made while eating! Breakfast was quite busy but plenty to choose from. Will definitely be staying here again!

We have stayed here numerous times and have always found the staff to be very friendly, courteous and seeming like they actually enjoy their jobs, so refreshing to see these days. They offer the free pick up and drop off from the airport which is great but last time we stayed there they had started charging for their bus to town, which for a family starts to become expensive. The rooms are always clean and fresh smelling which up in the tropics is a good thing. Beautiful pools as well. Restaurant meals ok but expensive. Also tvs only get basic free to air channels no cable channels or even free to air digital channels. I guess it would detract from their purchase movie model. Only other complaint is, I was sick on one day so it was about 1pm when we went out of room, housekeeping were still there and we put please make up room sign, but we returned and it was not done, and has happened other times as well. You have to be out early or you do not get your room done.. Setting is beautiful though in lush tropical surroundings.
