Now this place does look seedy from the outside and they do need to update their furniture but don't let this discourage you from trying their food. Some of the best take away on Dumaresq street.
I had a chicken and chips and the chips were lovely and fresh, not overly salted. The chicken wasn't greasy and was lovely BBQ grilled.
However i do prefer takeaway just because the place is abit out of date.

great shop with a great range of menu items,the chicken is very nice tasting and the kids loved the chips.the gravy was very nice.

Love the saltiness of the chips here and the gravy is amazing. Love the chicken as it is not mass made like Coles and Woolworths.

I find their chicken so different to the big brands.This is the difference with a boutique shop - no mass production.
fried chicken is amazing, very standout product. staff are nice, and the shop is in a good location. well worth a visit.

The best chips and gravy in the world. I eat too many of these. The service could be better, but it is not that important. I say agin, the best chips and gravy ever. They have the nicest chicken salt which go well with the chicken chips too.

The chips are to die for and have a hint of lemon or something which is what makes them the best I've tasted in 40 years. They are very addictive. The chicken is better than KFC because it's not as greasy. Their burgers are pretty good, and the service is friendly and quick. I'm amazed that no one has mentioned they deliver as well.

Pretty good food, service was pretty good. The chicken salt did not satisfy me, a very odd taste and i suggest purchasing a different brand or sourcing a different supplier
