Woman in the booth was rude and snarky and unhelpful. Bloke on the loader was good. Dirt seems pretty low grade.

Beware buying topsoil from this company. They replace the advertised sand in the mix with blue metal. After it’s wet it sets like concrete. Will cost a fortune to repair the soil. Try Corkhill Bros instead.

I was tailgated along Majura Parkway this afternoon by a truck with Canberra Sand and Gravel signage. He was so close I could literally only see his grill. I often see this truck (or this company’s trucks) driving dangerously on this road. I contacted the company on instagram to inform them and they quickly deleted it so clearly they don’t care. Hopefully they get their license suspended before they kill someone.

Would not recommend this business at all. They have no idea about customer service. Happy to leave people waiting while they do their own thing.
We were not the only ones left suiting in the heat. Give you money and business to someone who appreciates it.

Just got abused by drive for being in the yard before 7.30

Canberra Sand & gravel truck speeding in a truck & trailer failed to give way and couldn't stop anyway at a roundabout in Bungendore, Thursday 14/10/2021 at approx 12pm. Canberra Sand & Gravel truck driver is a poor community citizen who is a dangerous & potentially deadly driver on public roads. Got it all on my dashcam too, see it on Youtube.

Customer service hopeless, 2 people behind the high customer counter appear to regard customers as a nuisance and would clearly prefer to continue on reading their newspapers than serve people. Product range is very average and over priced, I got red gravel for a third of the price at Parragali in QBN, don't waste your time at CSG Hume!

Never had any issues. A couple of weeks ago, ordered 6m3 of mulch. They delivered 4m3. they didn't believe us. They sent out a salesman to measuer. He said we had 7.4m3 and we could keep the extra. Hmmm, free product? We knew it was wrong. It did not come to 6, it was 4 because we had to get another 2m3 from the competitors.
Was more than happy to continue using CSG, as long as the 2m3 we were charged for was refunded. They won't even answer me, it's been nearly 2 weeks now.

Looking for mulching and garden needs and went back to this big center where we got previously our mulch 4-5 years back. The company driver delivered our ordered mulch within 24 hours and was kind enough to accommodate our request to put the pile in a convenient area rather than the nature strip which made our work easier.
