I purchased an older vintage large format 6 Litre imperial red wine from this supplier. It was for a special party I was holding and this was to be the main feature as everyone attending it were wine lovers. The proprietor, Nick Munday responded to my initial enquiry within 24 hours and sent an invoice a day later for payment. Like the previous bad review I trusted his website which stated he was focused on quality and service.
He promised to re-cork the wine as he was worried about transport from Melbourne to Sydney given the size of the bottle. This never happened and the wine arrived with Glad Wrap and rubber bands around the top instead. Unusual for a $750 purchase but this was only the beginning.

When the wine was opened it was completely undrinkable and was beyond spoilt. We could not drink any of it which was very disappointing. I explained the situation to Nick over an email and requested if he would consider replacing or providing a discount towards another purchase. I never received a response, so wrote multiple follow up emails and called a number of times but with no response 1 month later.

It was clear it was stored poorly as a wine of this vintage should be within its prime drinking period as was confirmed by multiple wine reviews and expert opinions.

I note he is still advertising other bottles of this exact vintage and wine on his website. Buyer beware!!!

I buy and collect wines from many reputable merchants. I thought I would try this 'one man' online wine seller as the website promised outstanding service and the highest quality wines.
After placing my first order ($800) I enquired as to whether I could get a discount of some sort. I was then literally 'told off' for asking and informed what a 'hassle' it was to process orders like mine (2 dozen mixed wines) and was treated with extreme rudeness. I nearly cancelled my order then, but persisted. As opposed to the 'prompt' delivery I was promised (I live locally) it took five days to arrive! Then, on my doorstep the proprietor was once again rude and unfriendly! Further, and most disappointingly, now having tasted the wines, many of them over ten years of age were 'off' and undrinkable. When I called the proprietor to (politely) tell him of this, he was unreceptive and dismissed my concerns.
I am used to friendly, courteous and professional service (and quality products) in the food and wine industry and this whole experience was of the lowest standard I have encountered.
