I first made an order on 24.2.11. When I hadn't received it by 28.3.11, I emailed asking what was happening with my order. They had misplaced my file so I had to resend it. They said they would upgrade the size as they had inconvenienced me with the delay. I resent the file on the 14.4.11 which they confirmed they had received on the 2.5.11. The order was not received until 27.6.11. The deal was for a 56cm x 76cm canvas. The one I received measured 30cm x 79cm, almost half the size of what the voucher was for.

I have emailed them about my complaint, but they said that they had to print it that size due to the aspect ratio ( The image would be distorted and look wrong). I responded that Canvas lab did not advise me that the image was unsuitable. If I had been consulted I would have said that I was happy for it to be cropped as the right side of the picture is blank, or provided another image.

Furthermore, their website states;
"I'm not sure if my image will fit without cropping? Do I need to crop it myself?
No, we will crop your image to best fit the frame. Leave it with the experts!

I have asked them if this was not possible, why not provide a larger canvas in keeping with the aspect ratio? (similar to a 76x56, or slightly larger since they had promised me an upgrade due to the significant delay) The product that I have received is not acceptable, it has taken 4 months and is almost half the size I purchased. They have not responded to my complaint to my satisfaction, only offering a FREE upgrade on a future order, and I don't wish to use their services again surprisingly!
