Poor quality installation

If you choose Capital Air be very careful to ensure they install the system correctly.
I purchased a Daikin split system; the compressor unit was installed on a large garden paver (by Capital Air) on top of the turf which was on a fall away from the house.
Over time, the grass died and the paver shifted - risking damage to my rainwater tank and causing premature wear of the bearings as the system was running without being level.
Capital Air just quoted me half the cost of the system to re-install the system on a new base and to replace the motor bearings of the motor, taking no responsibility for the substandard installation.
If you request a quote from Capital Air, be very careful to ensure they install the system properly as it will cost you in the long run if you let them get away with sloppy installation work.
They have yet to take any responsibility; instead, they blame 'rainfall'.
If they accept some responsibility I will update and would recommend Capital Air. I would not recommend them otherwise.

Approximate cost: $3700

Thorough and thoughtful as Craig serviced our Airconditioner. Even taught me a thing or two about cleaning my filter correctly.
Very happy customer.

We have an older split system air conditioner that needed a service, and it had started leaking some water back inside the house. I gave Capital Air a call, and was pleased that they could come out to have a look at it the following week. The man that came was very punctual and polite. He gave it a good clean, serviced it, and unblocked the drain that was causing the leak. He was efficient, and cleaned up after, leaving no mess for me. It is working perfectly now.
I had also been considering putting a second unit in the main bedroom, and when I mentioned that, he gave me a quote for it on the spot, saving me some time.
The cost of the service was about $70 cheaper than the previous service by another provider, and just as thorough. I will definitely be using Capital Air again to service my sir conditioner.

Our ducted gas heater broke down on a Sunday night, in time for a 10-degree Monday at home. We spent all day Monday trying to find somebody who could come and fix the heater. Capital Air came out first thing Tuesday and fixed the heating straight away (it was a simple problem, but one we couldn't fix). We were impressed by the service and felt that the fee charged for the callout was quite reasonable.
