Low-star service --
I’ve used a number of car rental services in Brisbane and CarCoop Brisbane is undoubtedly the lowest ranking for me. We went to pick up a rental car and there was a small mix-up with cars. Which was perfectly fine, except the car they ended up giving us was nowhere near ready to be handed over (visibly dusty on the outside and in all the nooks and crannies (door handles, tyres, door panels etc. The inside was visibly ok, but actually sitting in it I was sneezing)). So when we requested this to be looked at; it was done with little effort. The employee who cleaned it was passive aggressive and didn’t care to hear if we were happy or not. Apparently “for a rental car, that’s as clean as it gets”. Obviously this is not true as we’ve rented from numerous places before and the car is always handed over properly washed and clean.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend them based on their service on a first interaction. The employee acted as if it was an unreasonable, annoying, and extra task to properly clean a vehicle that is being rented out for a charge. I’d honestly rather recommend a place that meets the standard on bare minimum and also doesn’t passively argue with a new customer with no care for improving on feedback received.
