Terrible

Terrible terrible service they don’t care about children progress. Teachers are very young not not motivated they are changing teachers almost every week. Make up classes are jock you will never get make up class. And if you want to leave this school and stop detect debit it is an other long story. Will not recommend this school at castle cove

This swim school is being run like a cheap business and NOT as a teaching platform for kids. There is overcrowding in each lane (with up to 5 kids per class) and that results is very little swim time. They force you to do direct-debit for the fee payment however theatre is no direct feedback for the money they are taking. You have to chase the supervisors with the clipboard for feedback and for any assessments. I had written a message on their website feedback form and I was assured by one of the senior management staff that "things were going to change" and they were going to have new systems in place that were going to be "very exciting". That was many moons ago... I haven't seen any changes. My child has been stuck on the same level and they don't seem to to addressing the individual needs of students at all. It's a one-size-fits-all approach. I am actively looking for swim schools around the same area (or nearby) to swap to. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Feels like a front for printing money to me. We had no support, no communication with anyone for the first year. All kids in my sons class were moved up classes and my son was left (age 5) with a class of 3 year olds. And no one ever spoke to us. When I brought it up, I was told we had "slipped thru the cracks". However 7 months later my son is still getting no support despite my best efforts. They have 1 teaching style and 1 pace, and there is nothing offered for any child that doesn't fit that mould. Very disappointing and expensive. We're moving to another swim school and will be happy to pay for private lessons for a while if necessary. Carlisle did not even offer any alternatives for my son. They just took my money.

Approximate cost: $80 per month

How disappointing. I had my child with them for a short time only because she didn't like the way the teacher poured water over her face.

In the past few weeks I've found 2 other people who have just removed their kids because of lack of progress and lack of any communication here and now realise there's nothing wrong with my child, just the teaching! The new school can't believe that we didn't swim more than a few metres in class and that kicking wasn't the main focus! Thank goodness I saw light.

Staff and coaches are friendly so far. My daughter started 3 lessons now, and I can see she is getting more and more comfortable in water and in the class. Once she was not willing to go in the water, the coach was highly attentive to her and spent a good 10 mins one on one with her to get her in the pool. It was recommended by a friend whose daughter has progressed so much after 1.5 yrs lessons from them.

Approximate cost: $70 per calendar month

My first daughter had swimming lessons from here.
We found the Admin staff very friendly and bubbly.
The swimming teachers can vary some are good and some are not.

My daughter was registered here for nearly 3 years and didn't make good progress.

Very little feedback gets provided here, I was always having to find the staff to ask for feedback and even then it was not a clear explanation of what was happening in swimming class.

can get very stuffy in the pool room

Only has 1 toilet which was not very clean

Loads of parking

Approximate cost: $72p/m

Carlile Swim School in Carlingford Court is convenient. They aren't fabulous. Some teachers are better than others. The Admin staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are new so I am not sure why there is only 1 toilet for everyone to use. The air conditioning isn't quite strong enough and it gets stiflingly hot in there sometimes.

Approximate cost: $72 per month
