RUINED MY WEDDING EXPERIENCE. Please be careful if looking to use services with this business. Unfortunately I had to cancel a booking made in advance with over 8 weeks notice. Although I paid $500 (more than 10% of the cost of goods and services not provided) Carly submitted a claim to NCAT for me to pay $1062 anyway despite the cancellation. This was for the goods and services not provided for a future date even though she kept my full deposit! This was the first correspondence I’ve had in regards to $1062 from Carly, and this in the form of a hearing. The fact that I cancelled services and the response I got was in the form of a NCAT hearing is a pretty rapid response to a cancellation. I had to take time off work to attend this hearing and if anything I feel defamed and extremely stressed as I have been accused of discrimination by cancelling such services. Out of goodwill I removed my previous review, however I feel that consumers should be warned. I hope that this business takes the time to understand what NCAT is, as this division will not support such a claim (given I am the consumer, and goods and services were not provided). Extremely saddened that this added stress has caused loss of income and appointments I have had to schedule to seek assistance with the stress and anxiety caused from this experience. For a day that is supposed to be so special, Carly has ruined my whole wedding experience! I have attached the outcome of the hearing below (obviously this would be dismissed, and in fact the business has put me at a disadvantage)! An absolute waste of time! Making customers pay more than a 10% deposit is unlawful and this isn’t the first time this business has tried to use NCAT as a threat. In my opinion, keeping a 32% deposit from a customer although services were cancelled just shows how this business operates !

Had my hair done for my sisters wedding by Carly, she did a fantastic job, my hair stayed beautiful for the day and night and surprisingly the next day too! I'll b keeping her details for my wedding!
