Terrific to deal with, excellent value. My 95yo mother asked me to arrange to have her carpets replaced in her 150 year old terrace house in Melbourne. I started this from my home in NSW, online and by phone. I provided approx measurements and Rob provided estimates.. Once I arrived in Melbourne we went to Carpet Shed chose a carpet and arranged laying for the next Monday. Mum had a 2 week block of respite in Aged Care so timing was critical. When the layers took up the old carpet, there were issues with the floor which needed to be fixed. This was done over the next 2 days, and a call to Rob had the layers back on Friday. Old carpet removed and taken away, was part of the service. Very pleased with the whole experience.

Approximate cost: $2600

Very Professional business - Highly recomended. I have very happy with every aspect of my floor and have recommended this business to friends and families. 100% satisifed.

We ordered a timber floating floor and carpets, and set up an installation date. They cancelled the installation because they had made a mistake, which was hugely inconvenient because we had guests arriving. Communication throughout was extremely poor - I had to ring them almost every time to find out anything, and phone calls were usually not returned. The kicker was that when the installer arrived (without notice - Carpet Shed promised to let us know when they were arriving but didn't) they told us we would have to spend $1500 on fixing the levels on our concrete underfloor. The building manager, and an excellent builder I know both say that this is quite common with floating floors - but Carpet Shed didn't mention the possibility - nor, even when they knew it was a problem, did they even give me the courtesy of a phone call to offer an apology or alternatives. Worse, they supplied a cheap underlay that didn't meet building regs for an apartment, even though I had paid for the top quality acoustic underlay. Fortunately I realised this before it had been put down. In raising these issues with Carpet Shed, all I got was rudeness, stonewalling, and a refusal to take any responsibility for their shoddiness. I have been very disappointed in the whole experience with Carpet Shed - the only consolation is that the installers (who are mercifully independent of Carpet Shed) have been very good.

We needed new carpet to be laid on our stairs at home. Carpet Shed offered us good quality carpet, making and laying at a very competitive price. The service was prompt, punctual and professional. Very pleased and would return to them for any other carpet needs

Approximate cost: $700

Very good and attentive service experienced when seeking new carpets to be laid in our new house. The carpet pricing was cheaper than other places we had seen, a good range available for selection. Service was extremely good with explanations given about the make up of the carpet.
