Catherine's Hair Shack is one of those wonderful traditional hairdresser's - where you are attended to one-on-one by just the one hairdresser! (Compared to those hairdressing salons where there are 15 clients and 5 hairdressers scurrying between them all).

Catherine's a wonderful hairdresser and always listens to what you want and works with you to achieve your best result.

One of the best things about the store is the lack of that chemical hairdresser smell you find in all other hairdressing stores; Catherine uses CHI brand hair colourants which are free of the nasty ingredients that make those other salons smell so bad. Despite the fact that the colourant is non-nasty, the colour lasts just as long as a 'normal' chemical colour would. I have no hesitation taking my baby here with me when I get my colour done, as there are no chemical fumes.

Went here to get my hair coloured, great service, very friendly, only one client in the salon at a time as there is only 1 hairdresser who is the owner of the salon. She does it all herself. This means individual one on one service and no waiting around!!
