Really pleased with Cedars. It is small, but I love that they treat you like family. The communication is great and they cater to the needs of the kids. Although the centre does not have big grass area, they utilise their indoor and outdoor space well with plenty of resources and activities and the kids love it. They have playgroup for the younger kids which is amazing and really helpful with transitioning to preschool. I have recommended Cedars to quite a few who have enrolled and been very happy.

I have worked there as a volunteer and this the not a good place for children and workers. I am not exaggerating but this is what I have experienced during my work there for 6 weeks. There is always a shortage of workers, in reality at a given time there is only one full time child care employee taking care of more than (min) 18 kids. I have seen on multiple occasions children being pushed and shoved off by the management & staff of Cedars Montessori. In fact the hygiene standards are of poor quality too. The cleaner visits only once in a week and many food items are kept with cleaning agents in places they are not meant to be kept (like Weet-Bix). When any staff member (volunteer / relief) tries to voice a concern they are asked to just follow what managers direct or are asked to keep quiet & mind their assigned work. Being a volunteer I was exploited here with a promise of wining a full time job. But the only work as a volunteer that I was asked to do was CLEANING (vaccuming, toilets, for the whole day.
