I hate going to the dentist and I was dreading having to but I had a toothache which was driving me insane for 2 weeks so I had no choice. I knew it was going to be something bad like root canal and I was absolutely correct - root canal. All the horror stories about the dentist hitting the nerve, it being so painful you jump out of the chair - what garbage!. The dentist numbed me up and after that I didn't feel a thing! I couldn't believe it - I was laying in a dental chair watching Simpsons on the TV on the ceiling and getting a root canal - didn't even flinch, besides the odd chuckle from a Homer gag. The experience wasn't bad at all and they fixed the toothache without me losing my tooth.

I was only in Brisbane from the Solomon Islands for the day and needed treatment done urgently before I flew out again. I rang the practice and explained my situation and the dentist stayed back to see me. I ended up keeping them back till 6pm when they normally finish at 5pm. They were all very nice and didn't make it seem like I was keeping them from going home even though I was. I am so greatful for their help and so pleased there are still understanding and accommodating businesses out there like this one.
