In a tearing hurry and with very little cash left after a shopping trip, I stopped at Central Square Cafe for a snack on my way home. They have a wide range of take-away foods - chips, potato cakes, coffee and plenty of other delicious snacks, as well as a wonderful section of Chinese food.

I was able to pick up their "Special" of three take-away containers - your choice from a wide selection - all for $10. I chose fried rice, satay chicken and sweet and sour pork.

At home, three adults shared these for a good serve each and there was a little left over.

So fast, tasty and really good value. Next time I drop in here I'll make sure I'm not in so much hurry and I'll stop to enjoy more of their fare.
