Charcoal chicken smell is what took me there, tasty food and generous amount of the chips too, variety of cold drinks too, friendly staff with a lovely uniform !

I zoomed in here in a hurry and ended up waiting a while. The chicken shop is in a bank of take-away shops bordering the car park here. There weren't many other customers, but even though I was waiting at the counter, they served someone else first.

The chicken and chips when I finally got it was okay - a large enough piece of chicken and some thick cut chips, but they served it in a styrofoam container which I find makes everything soggy. Eaten straight away would be better, but I don't think I'll take away from this shop again.

So, the food was okay but the service not so much.

Central West Charcoal Chicken has very quickly become our favourite chicken shop. The chicken is cooked to perfection and the chips are wonderful - always crisp and never soggy. We always ask for additional chicken salt :-)

Apart from the obvious (chicken and chips), Central West Charcoal Chicken has a variety of other hot dishes - fish, spring rolls, roast potatoes, scalloped potatoes, peas, etc. They also have an extensive arrangement of salads.

The staff have always been friendly, no matter what we order. Sometimes we only order medium or large chips and we are always greeted upon walking in the door.

The prices are comparable to other chicken shops within the area and there are a number of different combos/meals available.
