This little shop is tucked away in a dreary bank of shops with a few hairdressers, a chemist and a tiny corner shop supermarket. If you are lucky you can park right out the front. The great thing about them is that being a Post Office Agency, they are able to handle you mail, parcels, bills, money orders etc. and yet they are open at more times and better hours than a normal Post Office is. Plus there are not the huge queues if you have ever seen what the nearest PO is like.
You can be on the way home from work and get there before 5.30 to do your postage needs. Plus they are open on weekends! But go before 2.00 pm. Amazing. I do my parcel stuff then, during the week anywhere else is crazy.
And there is a Tattslotto Agency here too if you need to do that, as well as buy stationery and magazines etc.
There's always a "bargain box" where you can pick up older magazines or toys or stuff for lesser prices.
Plus they are really nice people. I think it's a couple who run the business together. I once went in for a Money Order and the man advised me not to waste my money as they now cost $10 each under a $100 value, and I only wanted one for $7 anyway.
So ... handy and open at better hours than normal PO plus no queues. Bit of a dingy place from the outside, but if you go in, you'll be pleasantly surprised. You can even get a drink in there or cigarettes too. I recommend it.
