Charlestown Bowling Club

I wouldn't, 18 of us were there and the first surprise was $180 to make a booking. The club was mostly empty anyway.The two Wagyu beef burgers were so dry the meat flew off the plate as l tried to cut it, chicken schnitzel was the same. Salad almost non existent, but the pasta was delicious and the staff were lovely. Prices are way too high though so we won't be back.No deposit was paid either.

Heard that this was a great place to dine . Ordered off the a la carte menu. Had the fillet steak with root vegetables. Came our swimming in sauce and an over abundance of cut small chats and a few pieces of sweet pumpkin. Steak was ok. But not in a pool of sauce. I think they could do better to match price and setting.

We had a lovely lunch here the other day snitizels were amazing so tender and tasteful.. very reasonably priced to .. such a relaxing entertaining club which has lots to offer.. staff were great and always spoke with a smile left leaving very full and fullfilled with our experience here

We stopped here for lunch. It was aircondtioned and esy to park and not charlestown square which was heaving just before christmas. The food was good and although not that cheap, was really nice . A burger with chips was $16-$17 and a pie with veg and potatoes was $19. A bit more than we wanted to pay for lunch but comfortable, cool, hearty and super easy. Prob wouldnt come again for lunch, but be ok for dinner- its the same std menu with board specials

Love eating here! The food is flavourful and fresh. Great variety - steaks, pasta, chicken, pizza etc. Great prices. Its never crowded, even when busy its relaxed and the food is fast!
