This take away was very busy on a Sunday night and nearby restaurants seemed fairly quite in comparison. Later I found out that the draw factor is not the food but the price. Ordered Vietnamese grilled pork and it was rather bland (Trang's at Westend does a much better job for a few dollar more) and lemongrass chicken also less than memorable.

Pretty disappointed with Chez Tessa - had heard it was not much to look at and service was blah but the food was cheap and deceptively good. Well, we got food that tasted as cheap as the venue looked. Bland pho with tough, tasteless beef, a basil leaf or two and onion? Yuck. Fried dim sims were more like soggy chiko rolls and the fried chicken didn't say Vietnamese fare to me. My boyfriend's chili squid (which had rave reviews) was chewy and tasteless. Would not recommend. It's cheap and tastes it.
