Nice and cosy, it has never been busy when I have gone in - normally around 5pm. Very fast food service (they don't take your order, you write it on the pad). Wonderful chicken laska. Will def be going back

Well worth a visit when in the area.. Very Busy Restaurant.. very well located.. Variety of Chinese cuisine available.. budget wise fantastic.. price wise it's a good deal.. When it comes to westfield shopping centre, China bar is always an option for me.

I have had a few meals here which were satisfactory however the last time I went my kwai teow was flavourless...it looked nice - they took it back and added flavour but I'm burnt by the experience now. The shopfront itself is nice, plenty of seating under the escalator and in the store...it does get busy but service is pretty quick. It's all order off the menu, don't think there is anything preprepared here. There is a little nook at the back of the store with ottomans to sit on, which is cosy!

For fast, tasty food on the run, visit China Bar in Doncaster Shoppingtown. This store has some menu items that do not feature in other China Bars - such as the Teriyaki Salmon Rice and you can also buy dim sum frozen to take home. There is no free tea like other China Bars, however you can always grab a drink from Coles or Woolworths which is a short walk away. Most of the time the dishes come out quickly, however on a Friday night you might be waiting a while as the place fills up fast.

The worst China Bar I have ever been to. Not only is the food really average but they are selective on who they give centre staff discount! One of my colleagues (who is Chinese) always gets staff discount, whereas everyone else I know doesn't. Surely a smile with some service isn't too much to ask for...
