It is smelly, busy, dirty but well worth it.

The food is one of the best in Sydney. The prices too are good. Well worth it and we will be back. The atmosphere is wonderful as well.

Had the pork and seafood pan fried dumplings which were delicious. The soupy steamed pork dumplings were rather large compared to other places I've eaten them at so it was hard to keep all the soup in and not spill it into your bowl full of vinegar and chilli! The soup in it was quite bland.but loved the overall experience.

Great value if you go with friends and split a few dishes. My personal favourite is the special braised eggplant (so yummy). Not too many vegetarian options but a few good ones. Great variety of cheap food. Atmosphere is fine for a casual lunch.

I've never seen this place before, and i suspect that it may be related to the one in chinatown- its similar food, northern chinese- dumplings, pancakes, and hot pots. pretty good, pretty cheap. actually, at 16 dumplings for $9 you cant really go wrong. Despite the fact that it was out of the way, there was a wait to eat, but the turn over was quick. The drawcard is the fact that the owner, when not barking orders at the staff, stands in the restaurant and plays his violin. Lunch: cheap, cheerful and musical.

Approximate cost: $12
