My daughter and I frequent chipmunks. Great place for kids to play, the giant inflatable slide is one of the best features as well as the under 2 play corner. Staff are friendly and it's quite cheap. I hired a room for my daughters 2nd birthday and it was perfect. And the chipmunk even visited my daughter! Great outing for the kids!

Our family has been to this place around 8 times now over the last few years so I feel confident giving this review. It was the first place of its kind that we visited, so initially we were quite impressed. However after frequenting a number of these indoor play centres, it pales in comparison somewhat.

To start out positive, our kids absolutely love the place and are always excited to go. And on a rainy or hot weekend, it a great place to be able to give them some good exercise. The equipment is fun and the climbing frame/slide structure is impressive, towering over the tables and chairs nearby.

There are a few negatives however.

1. The lack of maintenance is quite disappointing. My boys love the "ball shooters" and other compressed air equipment that shoots soft foam balls into the air and at each other. However every time we go there are a large number of the machines aren't working. It feels like you are not getting what you pay for. You could understand the occasional breakdown but it's an ongoing issue that never seems to get fixed.

2. It's quite a small space, which means it can get very crowded and on rainy weekends you probably won't get a table.

3. One of their slides empties into an enclosed area where you have to climb over an almost waist-high barrier to get out. This is impossible for small children, but small children can easily get to the top of the slide. This area is out of the way and dark, so few adults see it. I once found a very distressed little girl trapped in there. I notified the management of this and they seemed receptive. (They even encourage you to fill out feedback forms). However after writing a number of letters about the above issue, it still hasn't been fixed after 3 years.

So in summary, it's still worth going, but there are other places that provide a better experience for a lower cost.

Took my 2 year old there on a rainy day. I think it would be great for older children as there are lots of cages/ ropes etc to climb and some big inflatable slides to go down but the section for small children was a bit average. They have a boat apparatus with a ballpit which he enjoyed but he couldn't go on the slides as there were older (unsupervised) children climbing up and it was too dangerous for the toddlers. I'd recommend it for older children or maybe at quiet times for toddlers.

Approximate cost: $8
