The place is ok, we ordered churros with white and milk chocolate for dipping, it's nice enough but I remember it was quite expensive. They have a range of chocolates, I tried a caramel cup which was a dark chocolate coating with gooey caramel inside, really good! coffee and hot chocolates quite pricey and not that nice.
I might go again for a treat but not for coffee.
The hot chocolate was a powder consisting of what tasted like icing sugar and cheap cocoa powder. The chocolates were stale and not nearly worth what they were costing. They were overstaffed and under-serviced!
Hot chocolate was average and the churros were pretty good - crunchy & tasty. Place was smaller than I thought. I suppose a nice little niche to hang out after work.
Not a big fan of the "Spanish" hot chocolate but the churros were great! The place itself looked a bit dirty and smell a bit if you were to sit near the kitchen. Service was not very good. At the time they were 3 staffs standing behind the counter chatting to each other while we were waiting for our drinks to be made. When they did bring them over (after a good 30 mins wait) we already finished our churros and one of the drink ordered was not the right one. Now, the place was not busy at the time.
They're like Max Brenner except cheaper and with bigger portions! And the churros are amazing - like long donuts dipped in hot chocolate...the drinks are also quite large and they have a great selection of pralines and other chocolatey goodness
Approximate cost: $10
