Yummy brunch from
Here. I enjoyed the coffee and Dr Marty’s crumpet with jam and butter. Friendly service
I really loved this eatery.
They serve a traditional brunch menu with some european additions here and there such as cotechino on a lentil braise and ricotta hotcakes with persian floss.
Amazing coffee, amazing food, and a amazing atmosphere combined to make the perfect start to my morning, topped off with a friendly chat to the staff, equals one of the best cafes I have found in Melbourne. The owner of Cinque Lire boasts a large global knowledge of coffee and food, which is reflected not only in her staff but also in her approach to providing excellent service and melt in your mouth smooth coffee. Saturday morning breakfasts are not to miss, in addition to weekday morning take away coffees.

Small cafe with friendly staff and yummy food. I ordered the smashed avo which was yummy; the only downfall was the crusty bread. My partner had the ricotta pancakes which were amazing. Recommended.

A really lovely little italian eatery/cafe. It's a small place, very cosy, warm and authentically classy. The wait staff are really cool and enthusiastic about what they do and the food, without being over the top or intrusive. I loved how they are happy to make adjustments for dietary requirements, rather than being unaccommodating like so many other melbourne cafes. Even so, the menu contains sufficient variety and choice for people with dietary requirements to have one or two options. Servings are very generous - ie. my baked eggs came in a large skillet with chorizo, basil pesto, tomato & chickpeas ($18).
