Not many vegetarian options, and I can only comment on those. Service is ok. Enjoy the atmosphere as its one of the few places in the heart of Parramatta where we can have a meal and not feel like we are being rushed out or having to talk over excessive noise. Also one of the more spacious restaurants.
Pumpkin frattata is delicious. Side salad is limp and tasteless. Vegetarian pizza is worse than frozen. Pancakes with strawberry and icecream is ok. Decent value for $22 - choose from a range of mains and dessert. Potato wedges with sweet chili and sour cream was good but it's usually hard to make bad chips and wedges?
Free Wifi is so slow it's non existent.
Overall, not a place we would come often due to the very limited range of vegetarian and vegan foods. Of what we have tried, food is average and price is just acceptable. Mains $19-30.

The good thing about City Extra is that it's always open and for that reason I end up coming back, it's convenient if you want to meet up with friends. I have never encountered problems with the service, it's generally been pretty good but what lets it down badly is the actual food. It's just not very good. It's consistently either very bland or has some sort of unpleasant flavour. Last two times I came here I ordered a beef burger and could not even finish half of it, it was bland and the bread was stale. The second time I ordered salt and pepper calamari and that was even worse! The crumb was soggy and falling off and the dipping sauce resembled bottled marinade, very concentrated and unpleasant. Given the poor quality of the food, it isn't all that cheap!
I'll probably end up coming back for coffee or something due to convenient opening hours but I can't really recommend it.

Myself and 6 friends decided to have dinner at City Extra. We ordered our main meals and desserts. 20 minutes later the desserts came out. I told the waiter we would like to have our main meals first, so he took them back. 5 minutes later he brought the desserts back to us. I told him to take them back and serve us our main meals first. 30 minutes later our main meals were served and they were all cold.

I told the waiter to take them back and replace them with hot meals. He came back 5 minutes later after microwaving our main meals. They were all so bland and tasteless. Later we were served our desserts. I spoke to the manager and told him that I refuse to pay for these meals.

The service was atrocious and the food was no better. Will never return to City Extra.

We took the kids for a late night dinner on the weekend, i really like to say the service we had was super, this was from every staff that came to our service. The food was good, but when the bill came i didnt expect it to be over $100.. I think the price of a coke is overrated.. the food is well cooked and of course yumm.. overall i think the service experience won us over.

I have been to this restaurant several times and then last week. We all had the best meals and the price was great. We were there for lunch so it wasnt too busy. Would recommend to anyone

Really average. Variety is great but food honestly is just not that special. There are some standout dishes once in a while but the cooking doesn't seem to be consistent. And on the expensive side, so not really a favourite restaurant.

Food here is pretty average, their menu variety is huge, i cannot keep up at times. Open 24/7 its always busy.
We stopped in for coffees which was okay, service was ok, nothing special though next time definately want to try breakfast

I love how they're open 24/7! This makes it a great place to meet up and hang out with mates in the middle of the night or in the wee hours of the morning after a long and messy night out. Cosy atmosphere, plenty of booths and a red dim light setting.

Their range is MASSIVE - breakfast, desserts, pastas, pizza, salads and steaks.

I LOVE their bruschetta, so simple but the subtle addition of olives makes it soo good (and I usally don't like olives).
I also tried their chilli prawn and rocket pasta and it was pretty good. More of a noodle-type dish to me that didn't exactly have a thick sauce like most pastas do but the seasoning and prawn juices made it really tasty.

Prices aren't so inviting, I wouldn't come here every week for a complete meal out on my budget. Drinks are also pretty expensive for the size.

The food here is pretty average and VERY over-priced. The staff are pretty good and the service is quite fast. There is alot of seating indoor and out. It's open 24 hours a day and in a great location so it's quite handy. I'd only recommend it if there was nothing else open

My wife's scone was rock hard and stale. Food and service not so great!
Not a place I would recommend unless you are drunk!
