Just a quick note to thank you all for the beautiful service that was arranged for my Nan, Shirley Briggs, a few weeks ago.
You were recommended to me through a friend that had recently attended a funeral your company had directed. I have never been involved in the organising of a funeral before so didn’t know exactly what I was supposed to do. After many conversations with others I was lead to believe I wouldn’t get any change out of about $10,000 and although we wanted to give my Nan the send-off she deserved, we just didn’t have that kind of money. I was pleasantly surprised and must admit a little sceptical once I had viewed the inclusions and prices of your packages online. Nothing was hidden and before I phoned I knew how much approximately we would be up for. Even selecting your most expensive package we were going to be spending an amount that was acceptable.
Larry came to visit us and his calming nature was beautiful. We had the feeling we were in good hands. He spoke highly of the owners and was very respectful and nothing seemed too much trouble. I must admit there was still the element of doubt in my mind that at this price, everything would run smoothly without hiccups or surprise costs somewhere. Most of the organising took place online…organising photos, music, names of family members and details of Nans life ect. Larry was always very prompt and professional even after I sent numerous emails changing things.
Eventually Nans day had arrived. It was a rainy day, and the limo driver you sent us was such a lovely man too. Escorting us all by umbrella to and from the car ensuring the little ones were properly buckled in and cared for. What a lovely gentleman!
When Larry arrived and he showed me the Order of Service booklets I was extremely happy. They were perfect! Exactly as we had asked. The service was just beautiful….better than I had imagined and I am still hearing compliments from attendees. The individual tribute flowers was such a lovely thing to do. I have never seen that before at a funeral but it was something I am so glad your company does. The casket was just so beautiful. Never would I have thought we could have something so beautiful for the amount that we paid. It was very elegant and looked so expensive. The sheath of fresh flowers were so, so pretty! Such a beautiful thing to let guests take them home after the wake. Most commented how lovely that was too. Mine lasted quite a while! Also I know it is just a little thing, but how lovely it was to have the two little candle holders that were in the service given to us. I made sure my Mum and my Aunt had one each and they both have them now by Nans photo.
For the duration of the organising and even on the day I kept waiting for something to not go as planned or some extra costs we didn’t know about but no…nothing!! EVERYTHING was above board and absolutely perfect!! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending your business and have done so already to many should the occasion arise where they need your services. I am very thankful for your company’s professionalism and compassion during this very difficult time and thank everyone, Larry and all those behind the scenes, which made this task simple and hassle free for my entire family. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts xx

I had to cancel prepaid funerals for my mother. CS kept my money for 3 months not transferring them to the trust. They Never answered the phone (though they claim to be 24 -7). Misspelled my surname and got grave number wrong too. Very disappointed, it was a total waist of my time. After all, you've got what you paid for :(... So true

Very pleased with how my Dads funeral was conducted by Classic Funerals. Jana, Lisa and staff did a wonderful job and followed all our instructions on everything required on the day. Lovely farewell to my wonderful Dad.

where do I start? We were truly blessed to have found you as a caring family operation in June 2014 for the last journey of our daughter Michele on June 10th. Your quietly sincere, competent and non obtrusive way of carrying out Michele's wishes left us with a lasting impression of your dedication. You even arranged a beautiful bio degradable pillow for Michele's ashes to be farewelled at sea. This left a lasting impression.
And now, fast forward to June 2015. Sadly for us another passing- of Michele and Bernadette's father, my lovely husband John.
Larry, you and Classic attendants took care of all, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. On June 17th at Berwick Cemetery ,all was beautifully prepared. John would have been chuckling as he arrived in your beautiful spiritual hearse COACH. What a glorious experience for him and us as well.
The burden in our hearts was greatly lifted by all.
Why is it that a small family business tick all the boxes faultlessly? The very personal empathy, the beautiful flowers, the absolute non obtrusive taking care of everything, and finally the very low fees? God bless your team and a special heartfelt thanks to Larry for his so sincere uplifting service. A truly memorial experience. Thank you

Classic Funerals were absolutely outstanding with dealing with our family at the recent passing of my Father. I recently had my father's funeral conducted by Classic Funeral Services. I was very happy with the service and their effort and attention to details while also being very affordable. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

My mother recently passed away after a long battle with a terminal illness. I had the opportunity, which i know many won't have, of being able to prepare for mums funeral and phone around to compare services and price etc. After my first phone call of enquiry to Jana, i felt very happy with the fixed fee and what was included - you never really know if there would be something missing that you would be charged for at a later time but Jana was very reassuring that everything that needed to be included, was. After i made some comparison calls, i was quite delighted at what was provided for the price. Having given the go ahead to Classic to organise everything, i just felt so happy and relieved that there was nothing i needed to do or worry about. Our celebrant Carol, who Jana had organised, was just a delight and just ran everything so wonderfully. Many people at mums memorial commented on how lovely, appropriate and personal the service was and the care they took with all of us on the day - well, I just couldn't have asked for anything more. I just don't see how some other companies i spoke to could charge as much as they were for the same service. I truly couldn't recommend them enough to anyone.
