This place could be great. Pity it's completely mismanaged. Firstly, the food is overpriced and the menu changes constantly including the prices which seem to get higher and higher. Maybe wouldn't mind if the food, service and restaurant itself actually warranted it but it doesn't. The kiosk is also terrible. I'm down there often and the place is constantly understaffed. Queues a mile long and when we get there, told that the hot food is off because the kitchen staff is too busy making food for the restaurant!!!!!! Terrible place but could be great. Hoping one day someone else will take it over since its the only place in clontarf reserve.

Appreciation for making our wedding wonderful. The food was delicious, the service was so friendly and helpful. Everything was even better then we could have wished for, Clonnys were also so kind and understanding. Even when stress levels & tiredness was taking over!! Thanks to Clonnys for making it such a memorable day for us all!

My experience at the Clonnys restaurant (as well as the kiosk next to it) is a wonderful one. We had a very relaxing time in the restaurant getting professional and courtious services by the wait staffs while my kids were playing on the clean beach, helping themselves with ice creams from the kiosk. Only the very fresh ingredients were used for the food which were artfully presented to us. I am a happy customer from Seattle who was fortunate to experience Australian cuisine and warm friendship by Clonnys' staffs. We will definitely be back. Thanks Clonnys!!

My review is of the kiosk next to the restaurant of the same name. I wouldn't recommend it given the bad service we got and because their fridge didn't appear to keep their frozen items cold and hard. On the afternoon I went, the woman behind the counter was making several coffees, but I was the only person still waiting to be served. My daughter was actually the one wanting to buy something so I picked her up so she could be seen. She gave her order several times but was completely ignored. The woman didn't acknowledge us at all, even if it was just to ask us to wait while she finished filling someone else's order. When someone else came out from the back, they looked over our heads to take the order of the person who'd since joined the queue behind us. When my daughter finally got her ice block she found it was quite soft and she had to eat it so quickly before it melted, she didn't have a chance to enjoy it. I haven't been to the restaurant but I wouldn't want to risk more money than the $3.50 we spent at the kiosk.
