The service was poor, no responses to emails whatsoever. The promises to call back were not kept, I had to call back several times myself. Staff tried to be helpful, but only did so when I had called them several times and complained about no email responses or no call-backs when they had promised to do so.

Out of three lessons, two got rescheduled, one lesson got cancelled 60 minutes before it was supposed to happen because the car broke down. Understandable, but they had an hour to get another car somewhere, no offer for alternative date, time or anything.

Quality: good driving instructors and helpful with tips, but then again, it doesn't even out with the poor booking service provided.
Up until today, I have been trying to get in contact with them about the cancelled lesson, still no call-back, no response. Everything promised, but nothing has happened yet.

In conclusion: I do not recommend this driving school to anyone, and I will not get any driving lessons there ever again.

Coastwide Driving schools taught both my kids their driving lessons. I feel confident in their abilities now and it made taking my daughter for the rest of her 100 hours a breeze.

website looked appealing, and their $19/week program looked good. but wasn't really value for money. only had 1 lesson, and it was terrible. instructor wasn't helpful at all. he kept talking the whole time which made it hard to concentrate. he wasn't talking about driving (which would've been more helpful). he didn't know the area either, so it was up to me to decide where to go. quite nerve wrecking for 1st lesson. very pricey, not value for money.

MY experience was very disappointing. I liked my appointed instructor: Bred was very supportive and helpful, but he just wasn't`t available most of the time on the days I wanted. So, they kept changing the instructors for me, I had to switch from manual to automatic because they didn't`t have too many options in my area.Other 2 out of 4 offered to me instructors made me feel totally hopeless. As a result out of 8-9 lessons (!!!) three of which were for 1,5 hrs I didn't learn much. Every time I phoned to pay it took me ages because they didn`t store the details of my card plus they charged me extra 5% (my new school Affordable driving doesnt do that) Thier "$19 per week" ad sounds pretty good and helpful. That was a reason why I chose them. However that sort of commitment I wasn`t able to do because I was waiting for all the problems started from the lesson N2 to be sorted out (which never happend). Finally, they admited that I cannot have my first instructor . At last I was offered another one (the 5th!) on the regular basis. But again he wasn`t available at CONVINIENT FOR ME time. On the top of this, they managed to cancel one of the lessons just by the mistake of the administrator.
I do hope it was just me that unlucky or maybe they have a problem in my particular area. They do have good instructors and the lady on the phone was very helpful and tried to do her best to sort the problems out but it still doesn`t make the results of my driving lessons with them any better and I wasted so much money. I just feel being ripped off.

I have had several lessons with a person who was "from my general area". I was very disappointed however, to find that he did not have a very good knowledge of the local area or streets and as a result, the driving experience was not well planned and I don't feel that I got as good value as I may have driving in different areas, under different conditions. The instructor himself was fine, but I would have prefered a lot more encouragement, which he withheld.
On another point, it was very easy making appointments and the administration/appointments lady was very friendly.

Approximate cost: $55 per hour

I agree, I `ve had lessons with a few instructors (it wasn't my choice though). 2 of them were really good. But one of them-could be yours ;-)))- made me to be extremely nervous. He kept accelerating and breaking for me which was very annoying. He probably thought he was an artist because he made me to stop every 10min in order to draw and explain unnessasery things. Out of 1hr lesson I was actaully driving probably about 20 min and it was my 6 or 7th lesson!
