College Lawn Hotel

This place is pretty average. I went on a hot Sunday so it was very busy. There was actually too many people in there though.
I spent the afternoon squashed against my friends and people walking past knocking into me. On the plus we ordered chips and wedges and they were yum!

I really like the location and I have been on other nights when it doesn't attract a big crowd. Its a shame I have had this experience but unfortunately I wont be going back.

Great place for brunch or more importantly an afternoon drink with the outdoor area. The food menu has a good selection of food for any meal of the day. The seating outside is well covered and spacious, great to sit down with some friends with a jug of cider. They serve a good range of beer and cider on tap.

Great pub for watching the rugby and during the races. The cuisine is traditional pub fare and quite disappointing, but the drinks are very affordable and the service is excellent... 2 outta 3 isn't bad. It certainly is not a place to take your date.
