Do NOT go there. They have a system where you have to pay more if your consultation is 21-24 minutes, 25-29 minutes and 30-39 minutes. Give me a break! Most in the city have a flat rate up to 30 minutes. Plus Collins Street Medical Centre DON'T WARN YOU before the appointment. They just tell you after the consultation you have to pay more (Lady on the phone said I should have checked the website !!!) . Sneaky. I'm telling everyone I know not to get here, 500+ people at my work in the city

I have been in this clinic once for my stomach pain intending to get different professional advise from my regular GP. First time been there, they got a nurse to talk to me about 5-10 minutes before the doctor appointment, to record my medical background and blood pressure, ask some questions. when meet the doctor, doctor would get all those background information on the computer system. This process sounds very professional, although it costs more than normal GP.

Coming from Canberra I thought it would be hard to find a good doctor that was accepting new patients, but I got in to see a doctor on the same day I called. Both the doctors I have seen at this practice were great. There is also pathology on site.
