Several times I have taken a group through the hotel for a dinign experience. We are able to phone in advance and dook, or wealk in, and we choose the dinging room rather than outdoors or the bar. Of about 60 meals ordered over a few fonths, only one person complained. Everyone else regarded the value and quality very high. Several options are $10, but no main courses seem to be over $18.
I take a social group through, so we don't notice whether the service is slow or not, but it seems quite reasonable.

An older style pub, the decor was a bit tired and run down, but the staff were friendly.
A good menu with options starting from $10 and nothing over $18.50.
Meals were a decent size so you don't leave hungry. (and the chips were delicious and crunchy, everything you want from chips).
The pub also has a beer garden out the front so you can enjoy the warmer weather.
