Went here and ordered a parma (cause is there any other pub meal) for $10, which is a crazy cheap price and it filled me right up. Good staff there and a great atmosphere for a metropolitan hotel.

This hotel bistro is quite spacious with a kids play room too.
We came here for a Sunday lunch and were politely seated by a waitress.

We ordered steak with mushroom sauce and a steak surf/turf -which was lacking in the creamy white sauce and only 4 prawn (at $35 i expected a little more to be honest)
a side of mash potatoes (or chips) and vegies (or salad) is served.

the steaks were cooked medium well as requested but to me the food was a little cold though.

we had originally asked for salad instead of vegies, but when we told waitress of the kitchen staff's mistake, she was prompt to give us a side salad for free - which was a kind gesture

the meals are bistro style priced between $20 to $30 - about the average for a pub meal.

Entertainment Book vouchers are also accepted and you get 25% off the bill too.

Went for dinner, got a chicken parma, caeser salad and pizzas which were ok, the food came out at roughly the same time. The staff were friendly. They have special nights where kids eat free or cheaper meals.

Meals are a bit hit and miss. For a basic pub meal with a kids playroom they are pretty good. Dining area is large so plenty of room for prams etc. have some good deals where kids eat free on certain nights so probably a family oriented venue.

Approximate cost: $22

Been to this place numerous times for lunch and dinner. The ambiance is pretty meh but it does have a childrens indoor playground thing so that's a winner for us. Normal fair parmas, kievs, fish and chips etc. Food is okay $22 a meal. Bar staff are pretty grumpy, lady misheard me when i said chardonnay and gave me shiraz....when i told her she was wrong i was suprised I didn't get the drink thrown in my face. But other than that. ok. Well my fish was piping hot and my chips cold (as opposed to the chips on my mum and dad and hubby's plates being hot) but i was happy with that cause my 2yo was chomping at the bit to eat them so that was good! the place was a bit grubby with food still on the floor from previous (night's i assume) patrons which I thought was a bit rough....but other than that. Used the entertainment voucher so that was good.

Approximate cost: $22
