My mum passed away unexpectedly, and I did not know where to turn. After contacting Compassinate funerals, I was put at ease immediately and felt like I was treated like part of a family, not a business. Don, Karen and Maddie were exceptional in their respect, compassion and understanding, and guided me every step of the way. My mum had the perfect funeral, thanks to a very caring family business.

Karen and her lovely family team recently managed the funeral of my Dad. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with from beginning to end, went above and beyond to make sure things ran smoothly, and handled things beautifully when we had a small hiccup before the funeral service.

Karen and her team made our entire family feel supported and at ease during an emotional time, understood and appreciated our family dynamic, and encouraged us to plan the sort of funeral that was right for us and our Dad. It meant the world to us to be able to do that, and the day ended up being such a wonderful celebration of him. I’m not sure we would have had the freedom to do this with other providers. Their experience was evident from our very first conversation, and they were great at guiding us through the various decisions that needed to be made, offering options that suited our family.

We have had a sudden introduction to the world of funerals due to a recent death in the family.
I contacted Russell (on a weekend) and he was very patient and arranged for Peter to come and visit us on the Monday and take us through the process.
Peter was very kind & answered all our questions. I found the service they offered to be simple and cost effective. They arranged everything - it's really what you need during such an emotional time.
