When Con left and the new owners took over the new owners carried on and the food was as good as when Con was there. Last 2 visits the size of the fish was so small it was gone in a couple of bites! So disappointed. Won't be going back.

The crumbed/grilled flake is still as Con would have prepared it and it's a highlight of our fish 'n' chip meal. Chip servings are fairly generous.

Occasionally I have had to wait reasonably long periods despite calling ahead with my order and being told our food will be ready by a specific time. I think they can afford to tell people if their meal will take half an hour rather than 20 minutes if it means people aren't left waiting around.

The premises seem clean and the staff are generally pleasant.

The cost below is for 3x crumbed/grilled flake, $4 worth of chips and 2x calamari rings.

Con is a chip master...consistently the best chips I know of in the area. You won't be dissapointed. Highly recommend you phone ahead if ordering in a busy time (ie. friday or sat evening) as they get very busy.

ok, so we only ever order chips or potato scallops, not being big fish eaters. But the chips are delicious!!!! It is always packed in here, and all the locals know about it and have been here. A real local hot spot.
