I took my daughter's Dodge Caliber to these guys to get it ready for sale. The car had had a hard life, one door was smashed beyond repair and the car had plenty of scars otherwise. They re-skinned the door, refinished the front and back bumpers and compounded the car all over. They did all this within the agreed schedule and I was pleased with the overall result. A good outcome at a fair price. Recommended!

Somebody ran a key down the side of my car. My insurance company Alliance recommended Coomera Smash Repair. I had them also quote on some private work at the same time. I was happy with the quote and told them to go ahead on both jobs. I dropped the car in on Monday morning for the staff from Alliance to check it out and for Coomera Smash to order the parts a get started on the job. I was told that I could pick up the car up on Thursday afternoon. I received a call from the management the parts had still not arrived from BMW in Southport (Bruce Lynton Motors) and that they would be in on Friday. The parts arrived Friday and I received a call from the staff who quoted the repairs originally. They told me that the parts were a lot more expensive than the bits that they ordered by about $500 to $600. They had ordered the wrong parts to begin with when they did the original quote and they wanted me to pay the difference. I was not happy to pay the difference for their mistake and they were not prepared to stand by their quote. They told me that the insurance work (over $1600) was complete they just had to do a few things and they would call me when the car was ready to pick up. I received the call Friday afternoon that the car was ready to pick up. I picked up the car and the bits they were to replace that I cancelled which was under the bumper and that originally had some cracks and a whole each side about the size of a 50 cent piece. The part had been damaged more when they removed it waiting for the parts to arrive from Bruce Lynton and when I told them they were to cancel the job they put the severely more damaged part back on the car that is why it took them the afternoon to wash the car. I confronted them about the severely more damaged part and they said it was like that when it came in. I know that both sides had some cracks and each side had a whole the same size as a 50 cent piece. The part when I picked up car was half missing. The management would not do anything about it. Alliance would not do anything about it even though they recommended them and their staff had inspected the vehicle. They did a good job on the insurance work but the private work was a disaster. I dont recommended this crash repair.

In response to Billy bear. We were contacted by you before we started repairs and you told us that there was very little gas in your vehicle. We only drove your vehicle in and out of the work shop through the repair process. We even have a video of the vehicle getting driven out of the work shop for collection. We do respect and take care of all customers vehicles. We do apologize but all maintenance are the owners responsibilities.
