After being recommended to Carole and her team of superstars at Corcorz hair, I was not disappointed. Walking in to obtain a quote, I was given a brilliant price and was fit into the schedule immediately. Having not had a Keratin treatment done before, I was put at ease immediately with the expertise and knowledge of the staff. No question went unanswered and every effort was made to ensure I had a relaxing experience. It's not often I sit in a hairdressing salon and feel as though the conversation and care is genuine - i was well and truly blown away. I will most definitely be returning to the salon for everything hair-related and will be referring Carole and her team on to everyone I can!

Absolutely the worst experience that I have ever had in my life. I highly recommend that you avoid this salon like the plague. They will insult and criticize the appearance of your hair to try to upsell a $600 treatment to you. I went on a $49-95 Groupon voucher for style cut and half head of foils. My hair sits on my shoulder. Was told that it would be $25 extra for the cut and $55 for the foils. I argued that my hair was sitting on my shoulders and she poked my ear and told me that was shoulder length. It just seems like a ploy to get you in there and then trap you. The owner said that I might like my colour but that she could assure me that others definitely wouldn't agree. I felt insulted and really upset. I ended up walking out-the one and only time I have ever walked out on an appointment in my life. So if you want to be deceived, insulted, manipulated and exploited then Corcorz is the salon for you. I give them the award for the worst customer service experience of the life

I am so sad that I am only now seeing these reviews. I have to live with the hack job that she gave me for at least a year. I sleep with my hair in a bun I am so traumatised.

I went to the salon before I saw the reviews, and I am glad I didn't, because Corcorz is the most amazing salon I have ever been too. There is a reason the owner Carole has walls and walls filled with trophies and awards, plus is the hairdresser to the stars. Her intuitive perception of hair and your face, knowledge and skill is out of this world. I actually made the decision to never go anywhere else again. I have been to Carole before and because I moved decided to go somewhere locally and three days later had to book in with Carole to get it fixed, which she did. I had an incredible natural straightening treatment, colour, cut & style, blowdry, I went for it all, it was worth all of it, people still comment on how amazing my hair is.

Terrible. Visiting this place with a voucher is a great way to feel like a second class citizen. Staff are so unbelievably rude. They kept finding reasons why I couldn't get what I was entitled to (foils and cut), because the colour wouldn't work, I would have to pay $60 extra for toner, etc etc, and they were snappy and unfriendly. In the end I gave up and just agreed to get a cut. It took forever. I could see that they were busy and I offered to go away for half an hour and come back, but they said 'won't be much longer now', only to ignore me and leave me waiting for another 45 minutes. Meanwhile other customers who had arrived after me were getting their treatments and leaving. When I finally got my cut the stylist was rude and rough, and she went crazy fast and had it finished in less than ten minutes. The result is average. It's not the worst haircut I've ever had, but it's definitely not worth repeating the experience. I was almost in tears by the end. So very disappointing.

Do not go there!!! It was the worst hairdressing experience in my life. It is run like a McDonalds of hairdressing. There is no customer service, the owner and senior management are sour. After I had a trim I was advised it was $120 for haircut and $200 for the colour. A 17 yr old did my "specialist" colour and a guy gave me a flat blow dry and burnt my head. I walked out crying .... Run!!!!

Approximate cost: $320

The cut itself was average, the service not so great, a little less personalized than I hoped and then at the end I had to pay more on top of the Internet voucher I purchased. Not really value for money would not go back.

Thanks for the heads up I was about to go there and decided to check WOMO just in case. Glad I did.

Terrible experience like most of the other posts. They are out to rip you off with extra charges when you have bought a deal voucher. I thought the point of deals was to build up good feeling and get the client coming back. I wish Id read the womo reviews before I did buy one. There is a very rude woman who argued and shouted at me - the client!

Approximate cost: $100

While I came out the the salon really happy with how my hair looked, the experience was absolutely terrible, I will never go back and can get just as good quality somewhere friendly. My appointment was at 11.15, I didn't get in to a chair until 12 and even then they left me sit there for another 15 minutes before anyone came over - not so much as an apology, offer for tea coffee or water or anything. The whole ordeal took nearly 4 hours just for a half head of foils and a cut. Most of that time was spent waiting while they worked on other people and then came back to me. Oh, and then when I finished found $110 worth of extra charges, only one of which I was warned about during the appointment.
Just as a side note; I posted a status about having a terrible experience on my Facebook and within minutes had at four girls that had been there agree with me (all from different areas of Brisbane and none knew each other) with similar stories.

Approximate cost: $200+

I had a similar experience....really bad!

I've been here 4 times. First time was full paid hair cut. It was very average. I came out not feeling like I had an amazing hair cut experience. And for the price, it was more disappointing.

the 2nd and 3rd time were from a coupon online. I saw it and thought I'd give it a go. It was a 2 visit coupon. The first visit was HORRIBLE! The person cutting my hair seemed like they had no idea how to cut hair. She seemed very young so maybe she was new to the whole thing. I almost didn't redeem my 2nd cut to the voucher. But I did and it was alright.

During this visit, there was a new girl working there. She cut my hair how I liked it and she was friendly. I felt she was a good fit for me.

So when I saw a coupon for corcorz again not long after that, I decided to go for it. I called up to make an appointment, asking for the last girl who cut my hair. The girl apparently didn't work there anymore. Not only that, the owner wasn't even sure who I was talking about which just goes to show the type of business they are. There are so many staff running around that they don't even know each other or stay for long. I made an appointment anyway.

This last visit was it for me. No more going back and I will speak negatively about them to anyone who cares to ask. I had a scoopon for style cut and treatment. It promised me a style cut, blow wave, massage and treatment. Turns out under the terms and conditions they only cut "medium hair" and long hair had a surcharge of $25. They only deem hair "medium length" when it is above shoulder length.... I was not impressed, but as it was written in the terms and conditions, I accepted the fact and just asked for the trim instead of a style cut. The lady immediately said no as "she would have to cut the same amount of hair anyway"... which is my argument for shorter hair. Even if you want to style short hair you still need to do a little trimming. But I accepted and just asked for the treatment.

She was not happy. She went away and talked to the manager and finally she reluctantly agreed. The treatment was the sloppiest thing I've ever experienced. It was hands down the worst shampooing i've ever had. She was shampooing my forehead at one point and there were many times where she flicked wet, shampooed hair into my face and (luckily closed) eyes. The "treatment" lasted about 2 minutes and then she left me to sit there for about 10, during which time I sat there grabbing at the ends of the towel and trying to reach it to my face and ears to dry it from the water and shampoo sud (yes it was IN my ears). And of course, no blow wave, no massage.

I don't understand why they do these coupons if they're not happy to redeem it. It just turns people off. They're rude, snobby, have no skill and operate like a factory with no attempt at making a lasting relationship with their clients. Needless to say I wont be going back and I will be telling as many people I can about how horrible they are.
