Ive been a couple of times with my toddler. First time it was free as he was just under one, last time it was $6.90. This is still cheaper than other play centres.
The service is bad, took ages to get a coffee which is included in the adult price.
They have plenty of highchairs but they are not clean, make you you clean it before using.
The softplay area is great for 1-2 year olds and even younger, they unfortunately moved the ball pit which was at ground level up some steps which meant I had to lift my toddler in and out, the first time we went it was a lot better. Maybe they got busy in school holidays and weren't prepared for it. Still it was overall a good experience, my toddler didn't want to leave.
I do worry about the cleanliness of it all though.
Cost is $6.90 for under twos, then goes up to about $15. It costs $4.90 for adults with a drink included.

Approximate cost: $12

I hadn't visited this play centre for over a year. Back then, when it was new, they took care to keep the place clean. Now, it's a completely different story. We arrived at 1030, and the table we sat at was absolutely disgusting. I doubt very much that it had been wiped clean since the day before (or earlier). It was so sticky my bag stuck to the table. Given the place opens at 930, and there were only approx 30 other visitors when we arrived (and an abundance of empty tables) I doubt very much anyone would have had time to spill enough food/drink all over a 12 person table before we arrived.

On to the play equipment. Since my visit a year ago there has been a very shoddy approach to the maintenance of the equipment. Where rips/tears have occurred they have been haphazardly "patched" instead of fixed properly or replaced. In several areas the padding is ripped, missing, or patched with sup par padding and held in place with tie wrap. They are also using one area underneath the slide as a dumping ground for boxes and spare replacement parts, but haven't secured it properly as my son still found his way in there to retrieve a wayward ball.

The areas underneath and at the sides/back of the play structures have had no attention for god knows how long. There are layers of dust, forgotten socks and even food scraps. It is absolutely disgusting. When I queried the manager about how often they clean the place, she told me weekly. She said the cleaners the Sunday before were unable to do a thorough job because there were too many kids around. Ummm... how about cleaning after hours then? The amount of dirt and grime was clearly not the product of a week's worth of use though, I have serious doubts about whether the areas under/behind the structures have been touched in the last few months, or probably longer. Certainly not since the last reviewer (10th July) so it's disappointing for a manager outright lie as opposed to accepting responsibility and being accountable. They also need to drop the "new" tag, this place is no longer new, and because the maintenance is so poor it looks far more tired than it should after only a year and half.

* cont'd from above: One reviewer suggested taking <1 yrs there, to take advantage of the free charge. I'd hesitate. Based on their complete lack of care for general upkeep I'd steer clear. Who knows what's under the mats!!

I fully accept that kids play areas are mess magnets, and I don't expect a sterile clinically clean facility, but I do expect a certain standard of hygiene and upkeep and this place falls FAR short. I've taken some photos and sent them to the council, who have also suggested I report the maintenance issues to Community Services.

It used to be free for under 2's. It's now $6.90 for kids between 1 & 2 and $14.90 for kids over 2. Parents are now $4.90 but you do get a coffee - if it ever arrives. This place could be so much better - here's what they need to do. Have a separate entry to exit - in winter school holidays you wait forever to get in or out - or at least two computer terminals to process people in and out. Have people on the floor to clear tables and high chairs and clean the floors - swivel sweepers would be perfect for this place. On the issue of cleaning - this place doesn't look as though its been well cleaned for ages - there is food and dust between the play mats in the little kiddies area and a build up of dust and dirt (and loose balls) in areas not easily accessed. Increase the number of staff making and delivering coffees. It seems they increased prices for kiddies between the ages of 1 & 2 but haven't used the new revenue to increase staff to serve or clean. Slightly disappointing. If you have a bubba under 1 then use it to your advantage because it's not worth it otherwise.

Corner Cubbyhouse is a new Childrens plat centre. It is fantastic. Under 2's are free and parent entry is also free. The have a lounge area with tele for adults. Even computers with free internet access too! There are lot of seating and the play areas are great and child friendly. They have kids birthday party too. They have a great menu that is approved by Healthy Kids Australia. Lots of fun and good value.
