Cosmopolitan Cafe

Terrible service! I just waited to get served before a regular customer came in and got served immediately. I looked like an idiot.

When we arrived for breakfast we were told the kitchen was busy and it would take approximately 20 minutes for our food to arrive. We weren't in a hurry and were thankful for the heads up from staff so it wasn't too much of an issue for us. It was therefore a surprise when our food arrived a few minutes however I wish it had taken a little bit longer because the quality was very average. I ordered a bacon and egg roll which was not anything special considering I expected more from a restaurant in the middle of Bondi. My boyfriend ordered a big breakfast for $18.50 and it was nothing more than a few items thrown on a plate. Both meals looked like something I could have made at home myself. We both left very disappointed!

I think the food there is okay, though I am always wary of cleaniness. The prices are okay, if you order the specials, but they have still gone up a lot in the last two years or so, so I do not go there as often now.

They are great here if you just want a goodish meal and nothing flashy. There are lots of choices some a little overpriced but they have many cheaper options too, we got the $6 bolognese pasta each which turned out to be impressively large serves. You just had to by a drink as well though, I got an ice chocolate that was awesome with syrup, ice cream, cream and all. So it ended up pushing the $10 mark but still a good deal as was pretty stuffed for the rest of the day.

What a delight to the senses to walk into this cafe. Their soups are absolutely delicious and all the meals are extremely generous servings. Great value and extensive menu. Love the location as it's so central to all shopping and services such as banks & health. Fast service and always with a smile.

This cafe has the benefit of being in a great position, lovely to sit outside on a sunny day and drink a coffee. Unfortunately, the food is rather plain and bland and the coffee is disastrous! The prices are pretty reasonable though.
