This park in Nuriootpa is a really nice area to relax, have a barbeque, family get-together, wedding, bike ride, walk (with or without the dog). There is a lake area (dry at the moment) and large grassed areas, shade trees, electric coin-operated BBQs, picnic tables, shelters (one quite large), toilets, paved bike and walking tracks etc.
Also on the site are the Barossa Bush Gardens, with walking tracks and 7 different areas over 7 hectares, including an eremophila garden, CFS fire-wise garden, Sensory garden, Truly Aussie garden etc. Nice area, donation entry.
And also the Barossa Bush Chapel, an interdenominational open worship area, nicely set up with wooden pews, gardens around and set among the gum trees near the creek, suitable for weddings, funerals, church services, (whatever) and a donation box on site also.
The park is open free-of-charge every day and closes at dusk and you can drive your car in.

Approximate cost: $free or donation.
