The job was for a poured limestone pool surround (50m2), I emailed and called around 6 companies to get a quote and these guys were the only ones to reply.
The price was ~$500 higher then I was expecting but with no competitive quotes I ended up having to go with them.
When the guy (David) came to quote he seemed to know what he was talking about and was happy to help with some other small limestone fix-ups around the house. He also suggested pouring a small path to lead between the existing patio limestone to the pool which he included in the original price.
Now this is the second limestone pour which I've had done around the house and I had expected it to take a few hours... On the morning of the job three blokes turned up, including David, his father and an offsider, they spent about 5hours doing the prep - I wouldn't think this was normal for such a small job but I think it was more due to their compactor breaking down and the need for them to water and stomp the ground down manually...
The concrete arrived and went down quickly, once down they waited about 4hours for the concrete to set before manually adding the surface texture. After finishing they left the concrete to dry overnight and came back to cut the lines and path steps the next morning.

Overall I can say they were friendly, knowledgeable and went out of their way to be helpful. The job now looks good (went down Tuesday and it's now Sunday) The extra time they spent putting in the texture was well worth it and looks a lot better then the existing limecrete pour I had had done a couple of years earlier with a different company.
If I had to fault them I would say that where the capping meets the concrete in a few spots there is a few dips which I will end up having to fill with grout (if it starts to annoy me after the permanent pool fence goes in) but otherwise it's an excellent job and I have no problem to recommend them.
