Creme was by far one of the worst dining experiences I have encountered.
We ordered meals at 7 pm on a Sunday night, and it took until 8 pm (1 whole hour!!) for a calzone and cheeseburger to come out, and was told the next meal was to follow in just a minute. TWENTY minutes later the salad arrived, which at that point everyone else had finished their meals and I was left eating alone.
When complaining upon payment, we were rudely told that ‘it must have been because we came in at the same time as a big group came in'…no apologies, not a hint of regret, and spoken in a tone insinuating that it was our fault for coming in when creme was ‘supposedly' busy.
Awful staff, furthermore still had to pay the entire bill for such horrible service.
You'd be better off heading to McDonalds next time you feel like a cheeseburger.

Approximate cost: $18

You obviously dont eat out much. I frequent regulary and would have to say the staff always try hard to please, and the meals are very good to excellent, considering it is not a fine dining establishment.I am sure that most people would agree as this place is mostly busy otherwise they wont come back.

Great atmosphere, Great staff, Quality meals, and brilliant coffee.
Depending on when you go, it can get busy and a little wait might be expected, as with most busy places around Melbourne. Last time we went it took us 20 minutes to get our meals which was very good, and the quality was as always above standard. We totally recommend the place even if you just want to catch up with some friends.

Pretty good sized meals, nothing too flash.
They kinda remind me of a pub meal, but try to be a bit flashy about it
Ok food, nothing to rave on about, but pretty good for tappas and drinks

Great atmosphere, freindly staff, good menu and reasonably priced.I regularly frequent this cafe - it's nice and close to the beach and there is always an upbeat vibe about the place.

This place has a great location, lovely singer on Sundays and the food is nice (not great but nice)...however the service is TERRIBLE! We often get so frustrated that we decide we won't go again, wait a few months, try again..and leave frustrated with the service (we really should learn!!!). It often takes over 20 minutes for someone to come and speak to you then after they take your order it is near impossible to get their attention again! Never enough wait staff and when there is, they just don't attend to their customers properly - too busy chatting at the bar!
