I enrolled for my post-grad business course with Curtin as I'd studied at Curtin WA years ago. Big mistake!! I don't know whether Curtin generally has gone down the toilet or it's just the Sydney campus, but hell! I am looking to transfer to another Uni to complete my diploma. TOTAL lack of organisation; units stated on this year's timetable suddenly "not offered this semester" so a one-semester (6 month) course will now take 18 months!! Lecturers who read the whole lecture off the PowerPoint presentation (HINT: I can read, too!). Class which was supposed to be a 1 hour lecture and 2 hour lab (a very practical subject) turned out to be a 3 hour 'lecture' from PP presentation. POOR.
20% Assessment for my last subject was a multiple-choice 'guess' online which one could do with notes in front of you; I suppose that sums up Curtin: complete crap.
Approximate cost: $2300 per subjecct

Just a PS: I have transferred to the Perth campus as an external student to complete my course. Completely different; organised and better quality teaching from afar than I received sitting in the class. The Sydney campus is set up entirely for overseas, non-Engrish speakers so maybe they think that students will cop whatever they get.
