This is an amazing place!

The facilities are extremely basic but there are flushing toilets and showers. The ground is dusty but you have to get here early to be assured of a camping place in the main grounds (there is an overflow area – which gets used regularly).

There doesn't appear to be any barbeques and certainly there is no camp kitchen) but the pub is attached to the camp ground and most people go there for the world famous beef and barra.

The pub also has live music playing from 4:30 to 6:30 most days through the tourist season (May to Oct) and it can be heard throughout the park. It is very pleasant.

There is also the historic walk to get to see some very significant and impressive historical sites.
