Dam Hotel Motel

I have been to The Dam Hotel for meals on quite a few occasions in both large and small groups. The food is consistently good and there are different specials on each night. There are Chef's specials as well as (eg T.Bone Tuesday). The standard menu is excellent and there is always something for everybody. There is a small play- ground outside for children, a separate bottle shop, Karaoke some evenings but I just go for the great food at very reasonable prices.

We booked a function and was advised we would not have the public roaming through but they did, and we booked the venue with assurance the music, decorating and courtesy bus would be included in the price, however as the day approached none of these things were included, leaving us with last minute panic organising to do. The food presented was less than a quarter of what had been ordered, and was mostly not anything we had agreed to. We had also been told we could party late as there was a 3am licence, however, were kicked out before midnite. The toilets had not been cleaned either. We would not recomend this venue for any function, our "special celebration" is now a very sad and humiliating memory for our family - one which cannot be discussed without much sorrow.

This Pub is great. Nice and spacious with a kids cubby house room and fenced playground outside. I love the chicken schnitzel night with several varieties of toppings. They also do a great steak. Kids meals get a free ice-cream. They have live music to in the arvo on the weekend.
