I visited the Dandenong Medical Clinic once, as my local/regular GP was unavailable. While I was not unhappy with my experience, I would not likely to be return.

I found that the waiting area was full of young children, quite loud, and as I already had a migraine, this was not the environment I wanted to be in. The doctor was running late, however only by 5 to 10 minutes.

My appointment felt somewhat rushed, however covered the bases it needed to. The doctor was quick to prescribe a medication to help with pain (without much of a check up) and give me a medical certificate. While he did not make me feel unwelcome, nor did he make me feel welcome.

I would return if I had to, but not if I had a choice.

Dr Jim is my preferred doctor and has a great way of making me feel at ease and is very pleasant and reasuring. I trust him i think you can too.Bulk billing helps too.

I find the doctors here don't really ask many questions to find out whats really wrong with you, then have you come in and quickly ask two questions write you a certificate and prescription and have you on your way. The reception staff are really nice and pleasant though.

My family have always had positive experiences when they visit this surgery. Great doctors and support staff. Usually you don't have to wait very long to see a doctor and they bulk bill. We always see Dr. Geoff Pheben who is an excellent doctor.
