We had a floating floor installed by Dandy Flooring. Some difficulties arose during the installation due to issues with the sub floor. The installers did their best to get it completed, and got it done. However, in one area the floor now has excess movement because the pieces of flooring were cut too short (some shorter than others, ie. not consistent in length), leaving larger than required gaps. I spoke to the proprietor and offered to provide photos or have them come out to inspect. They refused on both counts. I also showed the installer the problem, but he refused to fix the issue. As a result, gaps open up over time between the skirting board and the flooring. We then have to kick the flooring back under the skirting board every time it moves out of position. What really bothers me is that I have tried to contact them since, but they will not even return my calls to discuss this. The product we selected is of good quality and we like the floor, just not parts of the experience.
