Danny's La Bussola Pizzeria & Restaurant

I come here sometimes in the first half of the week when they have a special on the large pizzas. The fresh spinach with pumpkin is a personal favourite and has great flavour. I have tried the pasta here but it doesn't have quite the same flavour and home-made feel as the pizza so I wouldn't recommend it as much as the pizza. The staff are friendly and it is BYO. They also do deliveries to the area. The atmostphere is small and homey with outdoor seating available.

Went here for dinner, got a great special (large pizza and a drink for $15). The pizza was huge, expect to get through half of it or to be very full if you finish it! Great options for flavours, pretty homey interior, not too flash. Would definitely come here again for a relaxed pizza or pasta. Lunch deals look like good value too; vegetarian options available.

This is a most delightful place with some of the best pizzas. We have travelled far and wide throughout the world and when a Danny's pizza is done right (we recommend the Americano or the L'Inferno), it is just perfect. Soups and salads are quite well apportioned, priced, and they taste very good. The informal setting is formal enough, but not stuffy. Go for the $10 lunch special, it's the best in Darlinghurst.
